About

Jessica Peters is an artistic, detailed and optimistic person by nature. Her deepest passion stems from the endless drive for knowledge within her field. In 2010 she received her Associate of Arts: Liberal Arts & Humanities degree at West Valley College in Saratoga, CA. Three years later, she got her Interior Design and Advanced AutoCAD Certifications.

Throughout her education she worked part time for two established Interior Designers in the Bay Area. As an Assistant Designer she produced hand renderings, CAD drawings and presentation boards. She was also responsible for sourcing materials and casegoods, specifying textiles for custom furniture and placing purchase orders. During her employment she also managed a co-op of +5 design professionals, organizing monthly meetings and keeping the design library up-to-date. In her spare time Jessica volunteered for Habitat for Humanity (a non-profit organization), attended annual trade shows and networked at designer showcase homes.

After college, Jess worked for a well established design-build company learning the ins and outs of construction. She worked her way up from an entry level design position to a high ranking senior designer within four years, managing many remodels at a time, from initial conception through permits, detail design, material procurement and into construction. At the upper level position she mentored other assistant designers and hosted company seminars. As a volunteer for Rebuilding Together (a non-profit organization) Jessica continued to give back to her community, helping those in need. She was nominated Team Player of the Year in 2015, achieved the Creativity Award in 2016 and won the Design Transformation Award in 2017. She went on to win a handful of awards for her projects through NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry). Her biggest accomplishment however was in 2018 when she was recognized for her passion, creativity and brilliance by the National Kitchen and Bath Association and inducted into the Thirty Under 30 Program; a life-long achievement.

In 2019, she was sought after by a construction company in hopes of transforming their business into a growing design-build firm. As Creative Director of Design she understands what it takes to run a successful design business, establishing processes, position agreements and helping to build a network of reliable partners while simultaneously managing many large scope projects herself. By approaching every project with enthusiasm and organization, she creates beautiful spaces while implementing the principles and elements of Design. Jessica understands the importance of efficiency while maintaining quality and she thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
